Light Spin Slow Jig Combo Saltist SJS62-2 V2 and Shimano Socorro

This is the lightest combo in the Saltist Slow Jig range, it is rated at PE 2. The PE 2 we use is Daiwa J Braid Grand that breaks at the 30lb mark so gives you more stopping power if needed. The rod is rated for slow jigs from 80-200 grams but will still work lighter jigs if you want to fish inshore reefs, but having a rating up to 200g means you can fish water depths of up to 200m depending on conditions. The reel is the Shimano Socorro 6000 and is a light weight reel that has ample drag and comes with Shimano Australia’s 10 year warranty. We choose J Braid Grand as the braid due to its strength and abrasion resistance.
